Miracle Prayers To A Trustworthy God

Miracle PrayersIs God trustworthy?  Can You Count On Miracle Prayers, On God’s Answers?

Do you want peace and hope to revitalize your health?  Then you need to trust God.  But how do you know you can trust Him?

Nature Tells The Truth

I believe answer to that question is all around you.  The sun rises and sets without fail.  The seasons come and go like clockwork.  But for me, the best lesson of His faithfulness is in the garden.

A seed planted in the spring grows into mature fruit by the autumn.  Of course, you have your part to do: watering, weeding, protecting, and fertilizing.  But you can rest assured that if you do your part, the fruit will develop.  Actually, the seed contains the fruit.  The oak is in the acorn.  It takes time to mature but it is there.

More Trustworthy Than Nature

It is the same with every word that God speaks.  In Luke 8:11 it says that His word is like a seed.  Every promise He makes in His word is yours to plant.  There are 3563 seeds in the Bible.  And, like the seeds in the garden, if you do your part, God will do His.

A Divine Science: The ABCs Of Miracle Prayers

Just as with agriculture, there is a divine science in prayer—a divine science in asking and receiving what God promises.  The best way to remember it is ABC.

  • Ask.  In John 15:7, Jesus says to ask and it will be given you.
  • Believe.  In Mark 11:24, Jesus says to believe that you have received.
  • Claim.  In Mark 11:24, Jesus says to believe that you have received.

In real life it works like this:

Let’s say you are afraid the rent won’t be paid this month.  Looking through the Bible, you find a promise (like in Philippians 4:19) that assures that He will take care of your needs.  Presenting His promise, you ask Him to help you pay your rent.  Then you tell Him that you believe His promise and, beyond that, you thank Him that He ALREADY HAS answered your request because the gift is in the promise—like the oak is in the acorn.  Then rest in the knowledge that He WILL answer you in the best way.

Miracle Prayers Require Teamwork

Of course, just like in your garden, you have to do your part: praying consistently, staying close to God, and praying according to His will.  But you can rest assured that if you do your part, the answer is sure.  God will be as faithful with your request as he is with the sun, the seasons, and the seeds in your garden.

God Promises Miracle Prayers

God assures this in Psalms 126:6 where He says, “He who goes to and fro weeping, claiming the promises of God, will certainly come again with a shout of joy, bringing the fulfillment of the promises with him.”

We Can Trust Him

Miracle PrayersIf you receive the promise you have the gift!  One of my favorite authors says it well:  “You don’t need to look for outward evidence of the blessing.  The gift is in the promise, just as surely as the oak is in the acorn.  You can go about your life assured that what God has promised, He is able to perform and that the gift, which we already possess, will be realized when we need it most.”  *

And again: “In the darkest hours, under circumstances the most forbidding, the Christian believer may keep his soul stayed upon the source of all light and power.  Day by day, through faith in God, his hope and courage may be renewed. . . . In the service of God there need be no despondency, wavering, or fear. The Lord will more than fulfill the highest expectations of those who put their trust in Him. He will give them the wisdom their varied necessities demand.” *

Yes, you can trust Him personally and that faith will make you well.  Thank Him for that fat watermelon right now while you are planting the seeds.
