The Miracle of a Clay Bath

Animals Know

I remember hearing stories while I was young about animals, who had been bitten by a poisonous snake, that went and took a mud or clay bath.  I also heard about birds that would go eat clay when their stomachs were upset.  Somehow these animals knew what to do when they had a problem.

Take A Lesson

We should take a lesson from the instinctual wisdom of the creatures around us.  Mud and clay are powerful healers in that they can draw out toxins from deep within the body.  Whether it is ingested or used internally, it has been used since time began by both animals and people.

Modus Operandi

Clay is so powerful because it both adsorbs and adsorbs.  Adsorption happens when the negatively charged surface of the clay attracts positively charged pathogens and takes them out of commission.  Absorption is where clay operated like a sponge to soak up the poisons that would harm us.

Clay to the Rescue

Clay is especially wonderful for skin conditions, allergies, and parasite removal.  It is especially adept at healing digestive disorders.  But, since it also can be an internal cleanser, it can help with many diseases that plague mankind.

How To Take Your Medicine

The most popular way to cleanse using clay is to immerse the body into a clay bath.  This is extremely effective at drawing out toxins.  There are many types of clay and each one can take certain poisons out of the body better than others.

Another way to use clay is just like the birds did, eat it.  Many people have healed themselves by ingesting clay.

However you approach it, clay should not be overlooked as an effective method of dealing with ailments.  Whether in a poultice, a bath, or a spoon, it can draw the disease from your body and give you health.
